FlexEnergy Solutions today announced that a leading independent exploration and production company deployed two GT2000S Flex Turbine® gas turbine power generators at key Delaware Basin locations. The two new units will be added to the existing customer’s fleet of four GT333S gas turbine generators for a combined 5MW of power.
With unmatched reliability and a simple, low maintenance design, the GT2000S turbine generator is the preferred solution for E&P companies.
With minimal emissions, the producer will maintain field power with minimal environmental impact. The GT2000S transforms associated flare and waste gases and tank vapors from operations into a continuous source of clean electricity. This eliminates the need for diesel transport, simultaneously cutting added emissions from typical diesel- or gas-powered reciprocating engine turbines.
“When our customers, who rely on power in remote locations for critical operations, continue to choose Flex Turbines, it speaks to the value of our solutions and the vital role we play in helping bridge the energy access gap in remote and off-grid areas,” said Doug Baltzer, Chief Executive Officer of FlexEnergy Solutions. “We are excited to launch our 2 MW gas turbine and to help our customers reach sustainability goals with clean, reliable distributed energy.”
